Default using real vs. fake words in domains

Do you think that it is good to use an actual word for a domain name or try to make up one?

For common things, like food/clothing/movies, those names are already taken. So I'm wondering if a made up name would be good?

For a made up name, I was thinking something like vozle.com or wizier.com, those that aren't real words.

Googol is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros. The term was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner, and was popularized in the book, "Mathematics and the Imagination" by Kasner and James Newman. Google's play on the term reflects the company's mission to organize the immense amount of information available on the web.

If you find a brandable name, that you can use for something or develop it it could be useful to just make up words.
But if you want to get taken serious by some people you should get yourself a nice name that is not taken, dont think it matters what extention it is.
