hi,

Php.net is one of the best for php tutorials, do you know any other programing language, if you dont know then then you need to study "C" because without knowing any programing language, its difficult to study PHP, PHP is simple to study, for getting better understanding study "C" first.

When I first started learning PHP I used this link .Very informative and newbie friendly.One of the best PHP tutorial site for newbie.You can also try visiting php.net.And try visiting hotscripts.com to see some sample codes that you can try to explore.
