you are right John. How was it for you? It was great for me so far.

Here are my top increases.

www.blogsrater.com went from PR0 to PR6 in two months!
www.pichub.com went from PR0 to PR5 in four months.
www.pimpmycodes.com went from a pr0 to pr7 in 2 months!
www.postyouradforfree.com went from a pr0 to a pr6 in less than two months!

To be honest I didn't see many increases or decreases..

I def though AllDotNet would go up but I made a HUGE mistake and got a coder to change over 10,000 pages to static links instead of dynamic links yesterday...That lost me a LOT of indexed pages at the worst time..

I knew I was going to lose them, but had no idea there was going to be an update, if I did I would have waited until after the update.

I have been kicking myself since I seen the PR update :(

I know it will help a lot more in the long run though, I have 14,500 sites listed and each one has its own page, so thats 14,500 static html pages that should be indexed soon enough

Too bad about the timing of the update for you John. But I am sure your site will go up next time. Frm what I understand Google likes the static links better. Maybe Vladimir can confirm this.

That is a lot of pages to be indexed. Once you get them all indexed with a good PR you can sell sitewide links for a great price. :-)

Yes, there was a PR update.

who works gets the results.

The PR upgrade motivates me to go further and keep working, it's the fool proof that if you work hard you have it.

HOWEVER, the effectiveness it's counted in the income, and that's most important thing, not the PR.

/Vladimir

P.S.Let's sell some links.

I don't think the update was right, or else they have changed how the PR is calculated.

One of my sites, www.commondirectory.com went to PR5 from PR0, it has only been up a few months.
Another directory, www.alldotnet.com stayed at PR4, but it has been online 14 months and has a lot more pages indexed and backlinks.

I saw a lot of people saying they have sites up a few weeks that also went to PR6 and they have next to no content/backlinks.

There are a lot that are right, but I think some are wrong, including my CommonDirectory PR.
