Personally, Simple Light but you have to do it right.

Doesn't matter to me at all, sometimes i like light simplistic skins but meanwhile, dark skins can be nice too.

What skin are you talking about??
I love simple light skins if they are good and clean. Everything that looks nice I will like, but dark designs... some of them are good, others not. |

I am a fan of dark skins, especially those with a techy and glassy effect  Also like clear skins  |

I like skins which load fast! Some skins can take up to 30 seconds to load and that could be really annoying to have to wait that long everytime you want to view a thread. (Good thing we have cache, though)

It depends what the theme of the forum is. For example, when posting on webmaster related forums I like being on a light, professional easy-on-the-eye skin. However, when I'm on a board such as a graphics forum I quite like dark skins.

I like those simple and clean. Too dark is hard to read.
And make sure the text is readable then it's a good skin. Remember it. |

Visibility of text will be more in clear skin then on dark skin. Motivating visitor to spend more timeon dark skin is difficult as it strains their eyes. It’s advisable to use dark skin only if the deign demands.
