Default ImageReady Droplets

When I use an ImageReady droplet to resize images, I am limited to
about 25 or 26 files at a time. What is the limiting factor? It seems
on my home PC I can do more than that (over 30). Is it related to
amount of cache or RAM? The batch command in Photoshop does not have
this limitation, but if I batch using a droplet, I get an error message
if I try to do more than 26 images at a time.
Any help would be appreciated.
