It really depends on what you are designing, like a logo, animation, something 3d, a layout. But since there are only 2 options I would go with photoshop haha.

Never used PS pro..does it have many options?

I don't really design, dont have enough skill! I just pay for my own designs but I edit the designs I buy in photoshop.

I only use Photoshop CS, it's perfect for what I need and has all the features and more that I require. I'd never look into using anything else for the simple reason that I don't need to. Photoshop is ideal for the modern designer in my opninion.

Definitely Photoshop CS. It's so handy you can do what you want with it.
And you only need it, and no other programs needed

I would definitely have to go with Photoshop CS2. It isn't for one too limited as Paint Shop Pro. Photoshop CS2 isn't just a normal Image Editing Software, it's a bit more than just that. I haven't had it that so long and becoming pretty good in designing.

Though Paintshop Pro is easy to follow, I prefer Photoshop CS2 because it fulfils all my needs in designing. And I think this is becoming every designers obsession.

I use Photoshop 7 for most of my graphic designs, but for short and easy tasks, I use Microsoft Paint It's quick, simply and easy to load and use.
