If you want your web site to be current and up to date as well as bring in a healthy profit, then you need to do maintenance regularly on your web site. Here are some tips on keeping your web site running smooth.
A great way to make sure your web site is running smooth is to build it correctly so that it is easy to make changes. You can easily make changes by building your web pages with php include statements, which is a very easy code that can be inserted into a web page. You can then make changes to your web page. It is easy to change an article, advertisement or even an entire web page.
It is also important to check your advertisements regularly. For instance, if you have AdSense, make sure that the AdSense ads are pulling up relevant material tied directly to your web site content. If your web site is on cars and you are getting ads for fishing, then you won’t make any money.
Check your web statistics to make sure that there is not a drop off in visitors; this can be a problem with indexing, pages not being displayed or other technical issues that may be unknown to you.
Keeping a well maintained web site will maximize your profit and enhance your visitors experience on your site.
