Default Free Or Paid Software?

What would you prefer?

A Free Or Paid software?

If you could afford a paid software, which one would you pick and why?

If not, then which one of the free [Open-Source] Softwares would you pick?

Paid, paid, paid.

Paid software is developed by individuals who do it for a living, whereas free software is develpped as a hobby. Therefore you will get much better support and faster responses with paid software. Paid software also tends to have more features and be more secure. It's definetly worth putting your hand in your pocket when it comes to software, in most cases. There are, of course, exceptions such as phpAdsNew which is a fine example of a superb piece of free software.
