Hi!

For this forum, search friendly urls would be the best choice and/or having a site map. Try to search on the Internet for mod rewrite or find a mod for vbulletin. Try to exchange your link with other webmaster related websites or even better, try to get one way links.

BTW, this forum has a nice skin. I like it.

vBSEO - http://www.vbseo.com

Expensive, but well worth the cost.

I looked at vbseo but I really don't think it justifies the cost of $149 per site.

Some people are working on free alternatives which I'm going to use.

The plugin is more expensive than vb itself and I don't think its worth it, I would be willing to buy it at around $50 but not three times the price - It wouldn't give a high enough jump in traffic or revenue to be worth it to me.

There is one free version available now which is almost complete - I'm waiting for the final version and it looks very promising.

I rather hire a individual than pay a company to do it. But an experience person with prices lower than a company. I seen people out there willing to do it for free or exchange for forum posting.

A sitemap or articles might help.

Submitting to directories provides great backlinks, and can dramaticly improve your Page Rank.

Agreed. Up until now I haven't managed to get my hands on a copy of vBSEO because it's quite expensive. Definitely considering a free solution like vRewrite, but it puts a few links and advertisements on your forum when you install it.. :(

vRewrite is what I'm looking at, what ads and links did it add for you?
It doesn't say it adds any and I didn't see any on sites its installed, are you sure?
