How can i secure my forum/admin cp

Choose strong good passwords.

What they should have are .
  • Lower case letters
  • Upper Case letters
  • Symbols that cannot be found on the keyboard but must be added through combinations.
  • Numbers
Never make it a dictionary word or tell your password to someone!

Or make patterns like 1234567890abcdefghi.

Never choose you're birthday!! If you got something like a birthday topic or its in your profile you're password can be guessed by anyone.

Choose passwords like:
-0mg4tehl33th03corsz4ndmymidn4meisbl00n00bf00l

it seems long but its as save as a dead chicking toasted in a microwave.

NOTE: Don't choose the example password

Good luck with making passwords.

Remember make cominations like i did with various and numbers and off course some symbols are always usefull

NOTE: Never use the same password twice.

Is one cracked then the others go down to

I've had this trouble before, someone hacked into one of my accounts before and got my password and used it on another forum,I had to change the passwords of all of the forums I was on.So......Always have a different password for different forums.

Excellent tip. Password hacking using Brute force sometimes tries 'proper' words first. So to add random gibberish (perferable a mixture of numbers and letters) to the end of your pw (eg Password34h6b32jb6) can't hurt. If you are afraid to forget you password, you can always use Firefox's pass manager or an external password manager program like Roboform.

Horrible Password Ideas, I can crack those in less than 30 seconds.
