Error with MySQL and PHP
I tried to access mySQL using the root password thru php but i get this error...
Warning: mysql_connect(): Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client in C:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\test\testmysql.php on line 7
Could not connect: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client
Do I really have to upgrade like what it says?
What is authentication protocol? Thanks for the help guys
